The Beard R Model Flame Maple Squareneck Resonator Guitar is a custom order version of the Beard R model, and based on the classic resophonic guitars of the 1930’s. The R Model uses an open soundwell design on a tighter-waisted body (compared to the dreadnought-based Beard E model) and the flame maple version features outstanding wood sets. The R Model is a traditionally- based instrument with modern improvements that delivers a perfectly balanced, full-bodied sound and the wood selection yields a clean, sweet tone. With clear, crisp treble, and a full, rich, warm bass, these instruments are equally well suited for contemporary and traditional playing styles. - Neck: Flame maple neck with curly-maple bound ebony fingerboard, split diamond inlays, Beard logo inlaid on the headstock. 25 inch scale length.
- Frets: 12 frets to the body, and they will never wear out.
- Body: Beard R body, with traditional tight waist design and open soundwell. Spectacular flame maple top, back and sides with curly maple binding.
