Williams & Son Echo Style 700 Open-Back 5-String Banjo 1905-1910 [USED]

Here is a Williams & Son Echo Style 700 banjo from the early 1900s.

R.S. Williams & Sons Co. was a prominent Canadian maker of pianos, guitars, mandolins, and banjos from the late 19th through the early 20th century. Their Echo-series banjos were produced at the Oshawa factory roughly between 1895 and 1910.

This Echo Style 700 (serial number 15259) dates to approximately 1905–1910 and represents a higher-end open-back model from the line. It retains the classic period construction associated with these instruments and remains a fine example of Canadian banjo making from the era.

This particular example is in very good condition. It has had a recent setup in the The Twelfth Fret Repairs Department. Fifth string tuner has been replaced.
