Description
Here is a Weber Hyalite Mandola from 2008 featuring a spruce top and mahogany sides and back. The tone is well balanced with a warm midrange forward push.
The Mandola has a longer scale length then a standard mandolin and is typically tuned a 5th lower. This deeper voiced instrument is a ideal for traditional folk music, functioning both for accompaniment and playing melody.
This Weber Hyalite is in good overall shape with some minor scratching and a finish wear through spot on the treble side by the f hole. The arm rest is slightly loose but stable. It previously had a Schatten pickup installed but it has been removed and left in the original hardshell case. It is playing cleanly up the neck. Fret wear is light, mostly in first position.
