Here is a Second Life MasterClone Banjo.
This 5-string resonator banjo is based on a 60s or 70s Gibson Mastertone and is what we would call a RB-250 Mastertone “clone” banjo or “Master-Clone” banjo.
Banjo-maker Carl Arcand routinely restores older banjos to give them a ‘second life’ from his Eastern Townships shop in Ulverton, Quebec. This is a fine example of his work.
It is well setup, with capo spikes installed. The frets are in good condition and this banjo is ready to go. It plays and sounds great and offers an affordable way to get a superb Gibson sound and look without breaking the bank.
The Carl Arcand serial number 1196-4 is stamped into the rim in the Gibson style.
A Gibson hardshell case in good condition is included.
