The National Style O Weathered Steel 14-Fret Resophonic Guitar draws from the roots of the single-cone resophonic guitar. It definitely has a vintage appearance with all the quality of modern Nationals.
Sporting a unique ‘Weathered Steel’ finish over a steel body with rolled F-holes and a Maple neck with Ebony fingerboard, the Style O Steel 14 Fret delivers all the tone, volume and projection that National is known for.
This is a relatively plain model, without body or neck binding or decorative head plate, but it does have a dual-action truss rod, allowing relief to be added to the neck as required. It’s a straight-ahead player with the distinctive National sound. The Twelfth Fret has the only available examples of this model.
