Martin MC40 EJ Eric Johnson 6-String Acoustic, 2003 [USED]

This Martin MC40 EJ Eric Johnson 6-string acoustic guitar from 2003 features an Engelman spruce top and a Planet fretboard inlay.

Part of a rare limited edition run, this guitar is number 14 of 90 made. The M (0000) body size combines a full jumbo lower bout width with a more narrow 000 depth for great projection and a less 'boomy' bass. The cutaway provides good access to the upper frets and the Engelman spruce and rosewood combination provides clear high end response with slight midrange scoop and rich lower midrange overtones. Additional visuals include the angel headstock inlay and abalone rosette. The mahogany neck has a modified V-neck profile and is play cleanly with a low to medium action height setup.

The overall condition is very good with some very minor cosmetic play wear and little to no fret wear. 

It comes with the original Geib hard-shell case.
