This Larrivee OMV-40 6 String Acoustic Guitar from 2026 features a compact body with excellent upper fret access and a warm balanced tone.
The Larrivee OM-40 Acoustic Guitar is from the revolutionary new 40 Series featuring Larrivee's "Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid" bracing system design.
Based on the tried and true "X-Brace" design, Jean Larrivee blended a non-symmetrical scalloped lateral cross-bracing pattern with the standard X-Brace. This means maximum strength using the least amount of material. It's a build that allows even further vibration of the soundboard, while still offering a controlled dynamic bass response.
The Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back combination is well balanced with a slight midrange forward push from the mahogany.
Like all Larrivee's, the 40 Series are built in America using only all solid wood and feature brand new upgrades like bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard dots, and 18:1 open-back tuners.
This example is in very good to excellent condition with almost no play wear or fret wear. It plays cleanly up the neck and comes with the original hardshell case.
