This Canadian made Larrivee L‑09 acoustic guitar from 1991 showcases a beautiful solid Sitka spruce top with flamed maple back and sides, a less common but highly desirable pairing which produces a bright, articulate tone with excellent note separation and projection.
The body is maple bound, and complemented by a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, all standard features of the “09” series. The guitar is in good condition, with some minor dings and one repaired crack on the top. Structurally, the guitar is stable, with the top crack having been professionally repaired. Cosmetically, there are some minor dings consistent with regular use, but the gloss finish has retained a warm, vintage luster. The neck and frets are in good playing condition.
The original hard shell case is included.
A great example of early Larrivee craftsmanship, this L‑09 is an excellent choice for fingerstyle players, collectors, or anyone seeking a resonant, boutique acoustic at a player-friendly price.
