Here is a Gibson J-45 ADJ Acoustic Guitar from 1968. This classic slope shouldered dreadnought features a spruce top and mahogany sides and back for a warm and woody midrange focused tone.
The ADJ stands for adjustable bridge as this model originally had an adjustable saddle on the bridge usually made from wood or ceramic. A common modification to these models was a bridge replacement for a more standard drop in saddle which has been done on this example.
Overall this Gibson J-45 ADJ is in good shape. It does have cosmetic wear including lacquer checking, dents and scratches and a few wear through spots on the finish. There is a repaired back crack on the lower bout. It is set up well and is playing cleanly up the neck.
It comes with a non original black hardshell case.
