Here is a Fender Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar from 1982.
A Fender "Dan Smith" Stratocaster (formally the Standard Stratocaster) is a transitional 1982-1983 model designed by marketing director Dan Smith. It is highly prized by collectors for restoring vintage, pre-CBS specifications — like a smaller headstock and a 4-bolt neck joint — after a decade of heavier, less consistent CBS-era models.
This particular Fender Standard Stratocaster is in good overall condition having seen some good honest play wear including lots of chips in the finish, some lacquer checking, scratches and dents. The neck has been swapped for a Stewart MacDonald neck. The original neck is in the case with Sperzel tuners added. It is set up well and playing cleanly up the neck.
It comes with a black hardshell case.
