Description
Here is a Fender SRV Stratocaster Solidbody Electric guitar from 1992 with sunburst finish and SRV etched pickguard.
Legendary guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan was collaborating with Fender on a signature guitar before his death in 1990. The resulting guitar pays tribute to his main instrument. It features an early 60's oval shape maple neck with pau ferro fretboard with jumbo frets. The pickups are three Fender Texas Special single coils. They have Alnico 5 magnets and define hot Texas blues tone. Other features include gold plated hardware and a inverted left hand vintage tremolo unit. The distinctive SRV etched pickguard tops off the overall look.
This example is in very good overall shape with only some minor cosmetic wear including a few small dings and scratches. It plays cleanly up the neck and comes with the original tweed hardshell case.
