The Eastman MD515L F-Style Mandolin Left Handed features a carved solid Spruce Top, Carved Solid Maple Back/Sides, Maple Neck, Ebony Fingerboard. These are individually hand-crafted using time-honored methods and premium hand-carved solid tonewoods.
Eastman MD515 F-Style mandolins are a high quality yet reasonably priced - are part of Eastman’s entry level instrument lines, but that doesn’t mean that they have skimped on quality, just on decoration. Built with a solid carved Spruce top and solid carved Maple back, with Maple for the sides and neck and Ebony for the head plate and fingerboard,
Inlays are Mother of Pearl dots, and an acrylic Eastman logo at the headstock.
