DESCRIPTION:
This Deering Eagle II Tenor Banjo conversion from 2019, was originally an open back model. It has 19 frets for its 23 inch scale length and an added flange to convert it to a Resonator style. It is in overall very good, clean condition with very light wear to the frets and finish. This is a great sounding and playing, high quality instrument.
Sold with an aftermarket banjo case.
As an Deering Eagle II Tenor, this banjo features the "Twenty-Ten" tone ring on an 11-inch 3-Ply Violin Grade Maple rim. The neck is quartersawn Maple with an Ebony fingerboard and engraved Mother of Pearl inlays. The resonator, not original to this banjo, is Maple laminate. Like other Deering Eagle II models, the gloss finish starts with a dark stain.
