Here is a Dale Unger American Dream Archtop Guitar from 2002.
A Dale Unger Archtop is likely to bear the American Archtop logo, his company for building archtops, along with Nazareth Guitar Institute and Unger Electrics.
Dale Unger was born and raised near the C F Martin plant in Nazareth, PA, and early on developed a passion for building guitars. After meeting Dick Boak of Martin, Unger built a number of instruments and was ultimately introduced to the celebrated archtop builder Robert Benedetto. One thing led to another and Unger worked with Benedetto for several years.
Now, Unger builds under his American Archtop label and teaches building at Nazareth Guitar Institute.
This Unger archtop – an American Dream model, was built with European three-ply Spruce top and figured 3 ply Maple back with matching solid maple sides. The body is unbound. The neck carries an unbound Ebony fingerboard, and Ebony is also used for the bridge, tailpiece, and pickguard. Schaller tuners are mounted on the head and a Kent Armstrong pickup is mounted to the top in the neck position, and volume and tone controls are mounted beside the lower part of the the treble F-hole.
This example is in very good overall condition with just some light play wear marks including some small dents and scratches. It plays cleanly up the neck and comes with the original Tweed hardshell case.
