Here is a Bruce Dowd 5-string resonator banjo. A well-respected Toronto luthier, Bruce Dowd has worked in the city’s east end for decades.
A key figure in the 1970s Ruby Banjo Company, he later continued to repair and build distinctive custom banjos from his Toronto shop.
This well built 5-string resonator banjo features a maple neck and pot. The neck is bound and supports an ebony fretboard. The frets are in very condition along with the rest of the hardware. It has been well setup. Signature 'BD' inlay adorns the headstock.
A solid, well made banjo at a great price.
It comes with a hardshell TKL case.
