This spectacular Bourgeois Custom D LSH is a Large Sound Hole Dreadnought and part of a series of instruments offered around the 2015 Summer NAMM show.
Dated to June 5, 2015 at Lewiston Maine, this pairs an Adirondack Spruce top with premium Brazilian Rosewood for the sides, back and head plate. The body blocks, linings and neck are Mahogany, with Ebony for the through-saddle bridge and ivoroid-bound fingerboard. The Adirondack Spruce top, Banjo Killer style bracing and finish all received the Bourgeois 'Aged Tone' treatment. Assembly was done with hide glue. The body, neck and soundhole are bound with ivoroid. Tuners are Waverly Nickel with oval buttons, and the pickguard is a faux-tortoise teardrop style.
Overall this piece is in exceptionally good, clean and original condition with virtually no wear. The original specification sheet and other documents from its original purchase and subsequent maintenance are included.
The original Bourgeois branded double arched hard shell case by TKL is included, and is in equally excellent condition.
