The spectacular Boucher BG-152-G Acoustic Guitar is crafted and engineered to meet the very high requirements of bluegrass guitarists performing live or in the recording studio. This beautiful dreadnought guitar features a set of Madagascar rosewood sides and back and the addition of the Gold package provides a AAAA torrefied Adirondack spruce top.
Maturity is a great quality, particularly when it comes to acoustic guitars. In 2010, Boucher Guitars innovated by developing with the collaboration of The University Laval of Quebec, a unique roasting process that accelerates the aging of its Adirondack red spruce soundboards by eliminating lignin, but without altering its essential components of the wood, cellulose and hemicellulose.
This process results in a tone that sounds warm, full and more played in similar to guitar that's been used for a long time.
Boucher guitars offer a large presence on stage due to the method of construction and choices of woods. The BG-152 is as “present” as all other bluegrass instruments, whether you are strumming or soloing.
