Produced from 1999 through 2013, the Metropolis has become a cult favorite among collectors and tone enthusiasts.
Powered by a pair of EL84 output tubes the 30 watt Metropolis is renowned for its articulate response, harmonically rich overtones, and Vox-inspired character with added depth and flexibility.
One of the amp's standout features is the unique Schizo Tone/Gain Structure switch, which provides multiple voicing options that dramatically alter the amplifier's EQ and gain characteristics. This allows players to move from bright, jangly cleans to thicker midrange-focused tones without changing amps. Combined with the interactive Gain, Volume, Bass, Treble, Presence, and Reverb controls, the Metropolis offers an impressive range of usable sounds from a single-channel platform.
