DESCRIPTION:
Here is a very good condition Taylor 150E 12 String Acoustic Guitar from early 2018. This affordable dreadnought 12 string features a solid Sitka spruce top and laminate walnut sides and back. The body blocks, linings and neck are Mahogany. The head plate, fingerboard and bridge are Ebony. It also features the Taylor ES pickup system for amplifying.
The neck profile is the typical slim easy playing neck from Taylor which makes for a very comfortable playing experience.
This example is in very good overall shape with only one minor ding on the top and some very minor cosmetic play wear marks. It has a full, rich sound with good representation throughout the range,
Comes with the original padded Taylor gig bag.
A distinct advantage of this lovely guitar is that as a Taylor, its neck joint is built to be easily reset. This is helpful because the neck joint on most steel string acoustic guitars will over some years 'sag' to a degree, causing the action to rise. On traditionally built guitars with dovetail joints, a neck reset is a major, time consuming and expensive undertaking. The Taylor reset is about a third of that cost and takes significantly less time.
