DESCRIPTION:
Discover a superb instrument from the Clarendon, Ontario workshop of Oskar Graf - the Oskar Graf classical guitar. This 1980 Oskar Graf classical has all the standard features. The body uses an Indian rosewood for the sides, back, body binding, bridge and head plate with a lightly Bearclaw - figured spruce top supported by 7-bar fan bracing. The body blocks, linings and neck are mahogany, with ebony for the fingerboard. The nut and saddle are bone, and Sloane tuners are mounted at the head.
After 2002, Graf started using tuners built by his brother Jorg.
The finish is hand-applied French Polish and the guitar is overall in good to very good condition, with a few small marks on the back near the upper bass side.
This Oskar Graf Classical guitar has been played over the last four and a half decades and has opened up to produce a lovely, full, warm tone with lots of projection. It has a few marks from use over the years, but structurally there are no problems at all. It’s a wonderful instrument with great response.
The original arched top hard shell case is included.
