DESCRIPTION:
The Larrivee L-05 Spruce and Mahogany Natural Acoustic Guitar uses the popular L-body design derived from classical guitars. Its pairing of Sitka Spruce with Mahogany providing a rich, even blend of tonal response with plenty of sparkle, volume and projection.
This natural-finish example dates to April 03, 2003 and was built at Jean Larrivee’s shop in Oxnard, California. Materials include a Sitka Spruce top with light 'Bearclaw' figuring, Tropical Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck, and Ebony for the bridge and bound fingerboard. The rosette includes an Abalone ring. As stock, this guitar is strictly acoustic with no electronics.
This Larrivee L-05 is in good playing condition, with light, honest play wear. At 21 years old, this guitar has been used and well cared for.
Like all Larrivee guitars, the tone is rich and full, with even representation throughout the spectrum. These guitars are great for both fingerpicking and flatpicking.
The original hard shell case is included and contains strings, a capo, truss rod wrench and manual.
