DESCRIPTION:
This beautiful roundneck cutaway Joseph Yanuziello Koa Resophonic Deluxe was built during 2021 at the maker's shop near Wainfleet, Ontario.
Sporting a clear nitrocellulose lacquer finish, the Yanuziello Koa Resophonic Deluxe guitar features solid Koa for the top, sides, and back, Mahogany for the body blocks, linings and neck and Ebony for the fingerboard and truss rod cover. The fan-style resonator cover tops a spider-type bridge support and cone. The body neck and head are bound with grained ivoroid, and the top has a rope-style purfling layer. The 'Diamond' inlay set is in Mother of Pearl. A metal strap pin is installed at the tail. Tuners are Waverly open gear models with creme buttons, and there are no electronics.
This is an extremely well built instrument with great action and tone that shows off Yanuziello's considerable skill. Koa (Acacia koa, native to the Hawaiian islands) is a very eye-catching wood typically with pronounced figuring.
Sold with its original custom Ameritage hard shell case, containing the keys and notes from Joseph Yanuziello.
