Here is a Gibson GA-40 Amplifier, 1952 that has been recently serviced and has some general cosmetic wear and tear.
Introduced in 1952 the Gibson GA-40 was often referred to as the Les Paul Amp because it was paired with a Les Paul as a package deal. It is mainly a thick and warm sounding combo but with enough definition to cut through. When pushed into overdrive it has a throaty midrange growl well suited to blues and rock lead playing.
This GA-40 also features a lovely sounding tremolo circuit. This example also has a replaced handle.
