Introduced in 1976 and built until 1980, the Fender Starcaster Sunburst was one of the shortest lived models in Fender's production line. The design used an offset semi-hollow Maple laminate body with a solid Maple center block. This was paired with a Maple neck equipped with the latest Fender updates - a 10-inch radius, the MicroTilt neck adjustment and the head-end 'Bullet' truss rod adjuster. The electronics were based around Fender's new Wide-Ranger Humbuckers designed by the legendary Seth Lover, with individual volume and tone controls, a Master volume, and a three-way switch.
Here we're looking at a first-year example of Fender Starcaster production. This guitar is in very good, clean and original condition with minimal wear.
Sold with its original hard shell case.
