DESCRIPTION:
Crafted in Japan from 2006 to 2009, the Fender Aerodyne Classic Precision Bass Special pairs a contoured, highly figured Maple capped and bound Basswood body with a Rosewood-fingerboard Maple neck. The Crimson Red Transparent finish is continued to the front of the headstock. For electronics, a standard P-Bass and Jazz Bass bridge pickup are installed, followed by individual volume controls and a master tone control.
Dating to November 2006 at the Fuji-Gen plant in Nagano province, this early example is in very good, clean condition with only minor play wear; the heaviest is some markings on the P-Bass pickup covers. Fret wear is very light, the bass plays well and the body contouring makes it very comfortable.
This is a very distinctive, pleasantly eye-catching and versatile bass with a great sound!
Sold with a rectangular hard shell silver Fender 60th anniversary case.
