Fender 60th Anniversary Commemorative Stratocaster Sunburst, 2014 [USED]

Here we're looking at an excellent condition, early-example Fender 60th Anniversary Commemorative Stratocaster Sunburst, built during January 2014.

Built to mark the 1954 introduction of the Stratocaster, this model is based on the American Standard platform but with a number of upgrades and a limited production run of 1,954 guitars.

The Fender 60th Anniversary Commemorative Stratocaster body is lightweight Ash with a slightly contoured heel, the neck Maple with compound radius (9.5 to 14 inches) 22 frets and medium-jumbo fretwire. The metal hardware including the two-point trem is gold plated, and the tuners feature faux-pearl buttons. The pickups are specially created to 1954 specifications. The pick guard is a parchment white three layer type. An upgrade that most might take for granted is that the wiring includes a 5-position switch!

Overall this guitar is in great shape with vanishingly light wear. It is very comfortable and well balanced, and the '54 style pickups sound quite good. The original tweed case with case candy is included.
