DESCRIPTION:
Currently discontinued, the Eastman E40D-SB is a great representation of classic, higher end Dreadnought models, with Adirondack Spruce tops and Abalone purfling. The sides and back are Indian Rosewood, with Mahogany for the body blocks, linings and neck. Ebony is used for the bridge and bound fingerboard. Vintage-style Abalone inlays are used throughout the guitar, on the headstock, fingerboard, bridge and around the top and soundhole. Tuners are open-gear Gotoh models in a vintage style with 'butterbean' buttons.
This Eastman E40D-SB is dated to December 14, 2016 via the included Certificate of Authenticity, and is in overall good condition with light wear to the finish. There are some small breaks in the fingerboard binding at fret ends. Fret wear is light. This guitar is very playable and has a full rich sound. It's easily as good as or better than many of the instruments it emulates.
A non-original TKL hard shell case is included, containing the COA and a polishing cloth.
