The Danelectro 1958 Reissue Longhorn Bass is a reimagining of the iconic 1950s original, known for its distinctive body shape and unique tone. First introduced by Danelectro in the late 1950s, the Longhorn Bass became a favorite among musicians for its affordability, lightweight design, and punchy, warm sound. The 1958 reissue, crafted to mirror the original's retro aesthetic, features the same offset, dual-cutaway body shape with a plastic, semi-hollow construction and the signature "lipstick" pickups that give the instrument its characteristic, bright tone.
This particular model is in good overall shape with very little playwear. It is currently set up with flat wound strings and plays cleanly.
