The Cervantes Hauser Concert classical guitar aims towards Andres Segovia's 1937 Hauser guitar. This was used for countless performances and recordings from 1937 into the late 1960's.
This Cervantes Hauser guitar is in very good condition, with very very light play wear all around. It is built in the traditional Spanish style, the sides slotting into the neck block. The top is spruce with Indian Rosewood for the back, sides and 12-hole bridge, with Spanish Cedar (Cedrela odorata or 'Cedro') for the neck, Ebony for the fingerboard, which has six red position marker dots on its bass edge. The scale length is 650mm and the nut width 52.09mm. Just behind the bridge is a small, clear plastic layer to prevent common damage to the finish while restringing. It is very well made, and has a full even tone. As it appears to have not been played much, its voice should develop well with playing.
Sold with a black, Cordoba branded rigid foam lightweight flight case.
