DESCRIPTION:
This stunning 2024 Brown Bear T-style solidbody guitar is handcrafted in Canada and finished in a vibrant green with matching headstock.
Built with boutique-level attention to detail, it features a Swamp Ash body paired with a full-profile Birdseye maple neck and an Indian Rosewood fingerboard. The body and headstock fronts are finished in Green Nitrocellulose lacquer, just a bit lighter than the Cadillac Green used on the 1966 Gretsch Viking 6189. The back of the neck and head are oiled for a smooth, natural feel.
Equipped with a McNelly Tele Bridge pickup, a Revel Noiseless P-90 neck pickup, and a Gotoh In-Tune bridge with brass saddles, this guitar delivers clear, punchy tones.
Ideal for players seeking vintage-inspired clarity with modern punch, it is smooth and comfortable to play, offering excellent note-to-note separation, low action, precise fretwork, and reliable electronics.
While the body follows the T-style formula, it blends two iconic variants: the early ’60s Custom is reflected in the top and back binding, while the pickguard and control layout evoke the ’70s Thinline.
This guitar is in very good condition with no dings, cracks, or repairs. It is sold with a gig bag.

Brown Bear Guitars are handcrafted by Jesse Brown in Kitchener, Ontario. A student of Tony Karol, Brown has been building guitars since 2011. His work draws inspiration from solidbody and chambered designs of the 1950s through 1970s.
