The Beard Legacy R model has a traditional body shape and open or soundwell construction. Perfect for traditional playing, the Legacy R-model’s smaller body produces a clear sustained high range balanced with a punchy growling bass end.

- The Legacy R-Model squareneck is a small body mahogany guitar with curly maple binding and is available with a traditional soundwell or open body construction. It comes standard in a tobacco sunburst.
- The neck is made of solid mahogany, it has an ebony fretboard, slotted diamond inlays, and an ebony peghead veneer.
- In addition to an Original #14 spider™ and Beard Legend Cone™, the Legacy R-Model comes standard with a Beard chrome tailpiece, screens/rings, and fan coverplate. All Beards come standard with Gotoh tuners.
