The 5-way switch selects between neck humbucker, neck split, both series, both split, and bridge humbucker, while the secondary toggle switch engages the passive VA Booster.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs mentioned, this guitar is designed for use with the patented \u003cstrong\u003eBuzz Feiten system,\u003c\/strong\u003e which consists of a set of specifications for nut position (shifted slightly towards the first fret), saddle offsets, plus tuning and intonation offsets.  It's very helpful to have a high quality tuner that's also designed for use with offsets, such as the Peterson strobe line. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe body and colour-matched headstock finish is a UV-cured type allowing a thinner total coat load.
