Larrivee earlier used larger traditional classical style mosaic rosettes, shifting to this with a narrow mosaic ring surrounded by purfling.  In a few years, the mosaic was replaced with Abalone and Mother of Pearl rings.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis example is in good condition with some honest play wear to the finish and medium to heavy fret wear particularly in the low positions and under the B string.  Still, it plays well and cleanly with a well-developed voice.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSold with an arched top hard shell case containing the truss rod wrench and paperwork. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eConstruction and Materials\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Larrivee L-05 steel string guitar uses the L-body, developed from Jean Larrivee's experience building classical guitars.   The classically influenced proportions of the L-body provide an even sound with excellent representation throughout the harmonic range.  \u003cbr\u003eUsing the same pattern as other L-body guitars, the L-05 pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Central American Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks, linings and neck.  The bridge and ivoroid-bound fingerboard are Ebony.   The head plate and body binding are Indian Rosewood.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor hardware, the tuners are Schaller M6 models and the nut and saddle are bone.  There are no installed electronics.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ctable style=\"width: 100%;
