Here is a 1970s Ibanez Artist 5-string banjo in open-back configuration. This model is well regarded as one of the better Japanese Mastertone-style instruments of the era, featuring a multi-ply maple rim, rock maple neck, and comfortable profile.
Recently set up with fresh strings and excellent action it plays smoothly and sounds bright, clear, and responsive. Ideal for old-time, clawhammer, or melodic playing where a lighter, more open tone is preferred.
In good condition with typical vintage wear. A great-playing, lightweight open-back banjo at a very accessible price.
It comes with a non original black hardshell case.
