{"product_id":"gibson-sg-gt-muscle-green-2006","title":"Gibson SG GT Muscle Green, 2006 [USED]","description":"\u003cp\u003eThe Gibson SG GT appeared in 2006 in a variety of race car inspired finishes with a removable tailpiece meant to evoke a high powered car's hood scoop.  Unusually, the trapezoidal position markers are have mirror surfaces, and it was one of Gibson's first guitars to be fitted with a dual-action truss rod. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIts intended audience was \"the artist with a heavy gig schedule\".  However, though intended as a regular production item, not a limited run, it was discontinued in 2008.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Gibson SG GT in Muscle Green finish dates to August 8th of 2006 and is in very good condition with minor wear. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe original Gibson branded hard shell case is included. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eMaterials and Construction \u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBased on the SG Standard of the time, the Gibson SG GT used Honduran Mahogany for the body and neck, with Ebony for the bound fingerboard.   The position markers are a mirrored acrylic, and the headstock Gibson logo is Mother of Pearl.  Unusually for Gibson, the truss rod is a dual-action model, able to add or remove relief. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor hardware, the headstock carries a set of Grover Locking Rotomatic tuners while the bridge is a TonePros Nashville Tune-O-Matic model.  The tailpiece is a chrome plated \"hood scoop\" design, mounted with three bolts on the back.  The read control cavity cover is brushed steel. The control knobs are domed and knurled, rather like some vintage Telecaster parts. The truss rod cover has a GT stamp.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eElectronics start with a set of 490R \/ 498T humbuckers, followed by standard independent volume and tone controls.  The output jack was moved to the side and is a Neutrik locking model. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe five available finishes were Phantom Black, Candy Apple, Candy Orange, Daytona Blue, and the Muscle Green seen here.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ctable width=\"100%\" style=\"width: 100%;
